On September 12th, the European new music website, melodic.net, published a new interview with Kef detailing some of the difficulties and rewards of releasing an independent record. The website features CD reviews and interviews from both independent and established artists.

"Pinocchio," the fourth track off of Kef's new CD, "Alright," will be featured on the indedpendent music compilation CD, "The Addiction V.6." The CD is compiled and distributed by Alternative Addiction, an independent music website, and it spotlights twenty different artists, including Collective Soul, and The New Left.

During the week of December 20th, three tracks off of Kef's new CD placed within the top three of various categories on the Garageband.com reviewer's picks page. The tracks "Steal My Life Away," and "Lovely" both placed in the Best Male Vocal category as well as the Most Original Track category!
In addition, on December 23rd, "By The Way," was again featured as Track of the Day on the pop rock main page!

On Saturday, December 11th, "Lovely," the sixth track off of Kef's new CD, "Alright," was added to the playlist of the nationally syndicated radio program, "New Ground," hosted by Chris Douridas. The program, which features up-and-coming independent artists, can be heard on 89.9 KCRW in Los Angeles, and in the eclectic section of Radio iTunes.

Within one week of its release, "By The Way," the first track off of Kef's new CD, "Alright," had already reached the #19 spot on the pop charts of the independent music website, Garageband.com. It was voted Best Lyric and Best Melody for the week of December 6th, 2004, and the #2 Feel Good Track of all time in its category. On Tuesday, December 14th, it was featured as Track of the Day on the pop music main page!
